    This is a face-to-face Sunday morning worship service where there is a mix of newer songs and traditional hymns. The preaching is expository in style working through different books of the bible. The children would normally have their own group, socially distanced, and leave for that part way through the service.

    These are shorter times of meeting together, normally based in a home (currently the Pastor’s) rather than in the Thatcham Parish Hall. This gives a more cosy feel and also the nature of the time together is that of worship and discussional Bible study.

Every Word

We believe that every word of God, as we find it in the Bible, is to be taken seriously. The Bible is inspired of God and is needful for loving obedience to Him.

Everywhere

The Word of God, as we find it in the pages of Scripture, has to be allowed to have access to every part of our lives. We don't pick and choose which areas of our lives in which to be obedient.

Every Day

Applying God's Word every single day and not just on Sundays. This is what Christian living is really all about.

  • Sunday Morning – 10.30 am

    Our 10:30am service of worship is a mix of traditional hymns and more contemporary songs. There is a time set aside for the children during the service after which they go to their own class.

  • Sunday Evening – 6 pm

    Our 6:00pm service – this service is a bit less formal and takes place in the Pastor's house (2, Loundyes Close, Thatcham RG18 3EB). It is shorter ending around 7.15pm. We have time set aside for worship and prayer followed by some discussional and applicational Bible study.

  • Wednesday Home Group – 8.15 pm

    Each Wednesday, from 8.15-9.30pm we meet for a time of discussional Bible study at Andy & Nic's house. Very often we study through a Bible book or perhaps a Bible theme. The studies are always very discussional and enable people of all levels of knowledge to be able to comfortably participate (or just sit back and observe, if they prefer to).

  • Friday Ladies Group – 10 am (Currently not running - sorry)

    Normally each Friday from 10-11.30am, the ladies of the church get together to have fellowship and take some relaxed time in the Scriptures.

This series has much to encourage and strengthen us. It has the theme of God's sufficient grace running through and dwells much on Christ and His salvation. It also has the theme of suffering present from start to finish and that helps us a lot at this time of world uncertainty with COVID-19.
