This course is run over 7 weeks and has the following format:
- It starts with a 2 course meal (let us know if you have any dietary needs)
- Around 7.45 we go through from the back room of the Thatcham Parish Hall to the main area to have an introductory section where either we will introduce what the course is all about (getting everyone up to speed) or in subsequent weeks we will recap on the previous weeks and discuss introductory questions to the material that we are going to consider in the video section
- The video section is about 15 minutes long and works through one part of Mark’s Gospel in the New Testament (Bibles will be given out free for people keep and take home with them)
- The final section of the evening is devoted to giving people opportunity to talk about what they’ve seen and also to simply bring their own questions to do with life and its meaning and also things that they feel are barriers to belief in God in general or faith in Christianity in particular
It should be noted that there is free car parking in the Waitrose car park (off the Moors) and access to the hall via the rear gate.
Also there is wheelchair access to the hall and disabled toilets available.
