Our name, Thatcham Evangelical Church (formerly Thatcham Community Church), arises on account of the fact that we are a ‘gospel’ people, for whom preaching the Bible, focus on our Lord Jesus and the cross and prayer are very central.

We passionately believe that the message of the Bible is good news for the wider community in which we live.

As a church we are a mix of those who would call themselves ‘seasoned believers’; those who are perhaps very young in the faith but growing; and also others who at present would describe themselves as ‘unconvinced’ yet enquiring.
