2 Kings 2 - 4 Contrasted responses to God's Word
A New Year's message on 2 Kings 2 where Elijah is taken up to heaven in a whirlwind and Elisha becomes his successor as a God-ordained prophet.
Here we see 4 differing and contrasting responses to the Word of God:
1) Elisha - is Diligent towards it
2) The prophets in training - are Disconnected preferring to be pragmatic
3) The Jericho people - are Dependent trusting God for the healing of the waters
4) The Bethel young folk - show Disdain to God's prophet and His Word
